Carbon Film resistors are made by vacuum depositing a thin carbon film on a ceramic form. A good choice for applications which require a steady, low power drop.

  • 1 Watt 500V working, 1000V overload, 0.5" long by 0.14" dia.
  • High stability, low noise, moisture stable.

Many of us build amplifiers using eyelet or turret boards, and unfortunately, about 1/3 of the resistors I received do not have the nice, long leads one expects. Of the 460 resistors, 340 were 3-1/4 inches long, while 120 were only 2-3/8 inches long. The short ones will be fine in some applications but not in every case for an eyelet or turret board.
