An interesting read! The title says it all. This is a comprehensive history of the Vacuum Tube from its very earliest days up until the early days of commercial radio broadcasting. If you are a tube collector, especially of pre-WWII tubes, then this book is a must-have for your Library. The Author lived through the era presented. The book is lavishly illustrated with photos, line drawings and more. I can not imagine a more through presentation. I enjoyed it. Recommended!
