If you absolutely positively need to use an axial capacitor these capacitors are just about a good as one can possibly get now, for some but not all values. If you can substitute a radial capacitor, here is what can you get: You get a 30%-70% lower price. You get a 5x-12x longer lifespan. You can get a 105 degree Celsius temperature rating versus an 85 degree Celsius rating. You also get a +/- 20% tolerance versus a -20%/+50% tolerance. I want to make my repairs as bombproof as possible. Some electronics grade silicone, adhesive some wire sleeve spaghetti and moving to radial caps helps me do that. Sadly, axial caps are going the way of the horse and buggy now. These caps are kind of low end by modern standards, and I am starting to see some of them come back into the shop with the usual failures of DC leakage and shorts. Tubes in tube amps make a lot of heat, power resistors make a lot of heat, and capacitors really don't like that heat. I need a 4uF filter cap on a rail that has 300-340 volts on it. I am going with a 4.7uF 12,000 hour, 125 degree C rated, high AC ripple/high frequency rated +/-20% tolerance axial capacitor, which will be tacked down with silicon adhesive. The 4.7 uF Solen and or MKP film caps would have been great but they are much too large. This product would be a very adequate choice for my repair, refurbishment and restoration needs, but, in this case, there are some better options.

I ordered the 22 uF caps and they were almost spot on when measured with my Fluke. I would have no hesitation in purchasing these again.
