I wanted to build a Tweed 5F1 clone, but didn't want to fork out the $500 for the full kit. I can build a cab to house it, so I figured I'd purchase everything else needed to build it. When it came to buying the chassis, it was going to be $75 for the chromed, printed and drilled one + shipping. I looked here on the AES site and found this box. It was the perfect size (just a tad longer and deeper) and being aluminum made it nice and easy to drill and cut. Just what I was looking for!
