I've found these Octal 8-pin Ceramic tube sockets to be a high quality socket. I use these Octal sockets as high quality replacements in vintage tube equipment that I restore and it is the only Octal socket I use in my tube amplifiers that I build. I've found that cheaper phenolic sockets will develope socket to tube pin connection problems within a few years of use. That's not the case with the ceramic octal sockets, I have these sockets in a tube amp I built in 2007, it's used nearly everyday and I have yet to have a connection problem. These are high quality tube sockets and I recommend them for anyone building or restoring tube equipment that requires the 8-pin octal sockets.
