Normally I wouldn't respond to a review with another review but the above is just flat out silly. Maybe the person who wrote the above review can travel bad in time and inform Tung Sol and Sylvania not produce the 6L6G, which is, historically the same thing , more or less a a 6L6WGS.As I mentioned in another posting the lower watt tubes may be preferable in a guitar amplifier, where "coloration" of the sound is desired and "clean" over head and low distortion are not necessarily always the objective. That said unsorted tubes are fussy inconsistent things.Buying from a trusted competent dealer can mean the difference between a good experience and. BAD experience. I haven't hd a bad tube experience with Antique Electronic supply yet.I hope I never do.....Also these 6L6WGS tubes were made by Sino , not Shaugang..Im not even sure Shaugang is making glass receiving tubes anymore. Whenever I see any 6L6 type tubes made by Shaugang, I BUY THEM.
