A quad of these were installed in a Peavy Windsor amp I had a few years ago and I thought the amp sounded good, especially for the price, and I thought the EL34B tubes installed in it sounded very good. Chinese Tube manufacturing seems to copy a lot of the old Japanese products - from Matsushita and Hitachi, and the EL34B Chinese its a perfect example of that. I have several pairs of Japanese "Mullard" EL34 tubes and these are a good facsimile. Like Groove Tubes I am generally impressed with TAD products
