Decent quality part. I mount these using a 1 inch knock out punch. Sometimes the pins will fall through, and the solder will flow into the pin, the pin also will sometimes require crimping to make a better connection to my older octal tubes. So solder carefully, control the excess solder, curve in a corner of the pin with a sharp instrument, and life is good with these ceramic octal tube sockets. Pry out the tab that holds the pin in the socket if you see one that is a little to slim. Other than these small issues, I'll keep buying.
