Very nice quality! Beautiful chrome plating and nice thick steel - much nicer than most Fender branded and aftermarket tele control plates which are significantly thinner. The extra thickness makes for a much closer match between the pickguard and the plate. But be advised that this is not USA spec nor a drop-in replacement. The plate is about 1/16" wider and longer (1-5/16" x 6-5/16") than my American Telecaster plate, so trimming the pickguard cutout a tiny amount may be necessary. Also, the mounting hole spacing is 5-15/16" which is about 1/16" wider than standard (I think this might be import spacing). So as a USA replacement this might require some work. As an import replacement to use 3/8" bushing pots this might be perfect. On a new build, this is fantastic quality for a very good price. And as reported in another review, the control layout spacing is not USA standard - the switch is ~1/8" inward, there is ~1/8" more space between switch and volume (13/16" - this is great), and ~1/4" less space between volume and tone (2-1/4"). I think this layout is actually an improvement.
