I put one of these in my 65 Deluxe Reverb reissue. It quieted it down considerably. I think I'll also add the .01 mfd cap for good measure and be done with it (as per The official Fender solution (Service Bulletin number 9). I am glad I went ahead with this. I had repaired a few vintage Fenders but I wanted to try it on the reissue and it worked for me. I hadn't seen anyone comment on this so I wanted to share with anyone interested.
