I needed to replace my old battery box in my active bass guitar and this one fit great. very similar box to my last one. The latch on the battery box holds the battery secure and tight against the energized copper connector tabs. This being my second battery box in the last 15 years I know it is durable. My only concern is the way copper tabs are held in place by the impact resistant plastic. after years of battery replacements and use the plastic will eventually get brittle and break. All in all a great box.
