These dress nuts look REAALLY nice, but I could not get it tight enough to secure a large Carling DPDT toggle to the back of a Princeton Reverb chassis (even with a lock tooth washer on the inside of the chassis). I ended up chewing up a few of these from my pliers before I abandoned the idea altogether.
I have not verified, but I think a smaller footswitch or toggle (amp On/Off toggle) would work much better.
