This size capacitor is a good replacement for Mesa Boogie amplifiers, especially in the output driver tube section. Mesa typically used a lot of 400V coupling capacitors that were at the limit of high voltage applied to them and effected the negative Bias voltage to the output tubes. On their Forum's it was recommended to use 600V coupling capacitors in place of the original 400V to help save burnt out Output tubes, not to mention destroying capacitors in the Bias circuit.
