I have used these on a few old light plant powered radios, AKA "farm radios". Back home we still had farms that were using Collins Radio wind generators, and wet cell batteries. These kits make those old 22.5, 45, 37.5, 60, 90 & 135 volt radios live again. I had some of the Hercules 45 volt field phone batteries handy after the 2010 hail storm, and swapped this kit for the batteries, but today's syndicated radio programming made the effort fruitless. This is a just a fun, useful kit that has brought my Coronado, Firestone, Collins, & other old chairside farm radios back to life again. Add a switch, a fuse, and some means of clamping the AC mains cord, and age the board with some stain & sunlight. After that this kit will almost look like it belongs in your old radio!! NEAT KIT!
