I have become a big fan of TAD tubes! I mostly play p&w music and I have these el84's installed in both amps I use. (vox ac15c1, and fender concert pro tube series 112) They're dead quiet in the fender, and just a little noise in the vox. Smooth breakup,very warm, and a bit darker sounding than most other el84's. (which I love about these tubes) They (along with the 12ax7's) turned the ac15 from a good little amp to a stellar sounding amp and warmed up the sound of the concert considerably! I am mostly a rythm player and play a gretsch falcon or a strat w/cs texas specials. I would highly recommend these tubes!!
