I think these are a brgain compared to similar offerings by others. I've used these on three different guitars (now a fourth) and been very satisfied with them. I've also tried the GOTOH GNS1 tuners, which are similar to these, and I didn't like them as well. Waverly also offers similar tuners, but at more than 3 times the price I can't justify it.
(I never give 5 stars for anything.)

Replaced the Grover tuners that came on my Martin D-28 with the gold Grover's. They look like a definite upgrade.
And kudos to AES for having them in stock and shipping them out so quickly! Will be using them again for sure!

The tuners slipped into place on my Tanglewood TW73. The hold the tune and were easy to install. The Antique Electronci Supply beat everyone's pricing. I highly recommend using them.
