Reverb Tank - Accutronics, 4EB3C1B, Long Decay, 2-Spring

Hi, my Boogie .22 Caliber+ combo amp may need a new reverb tank. Mine is Accutronics #8AB2A1B. Please reply before I order so I'm headed in the right direction. My reverb got weak first & then died. Changed the 12AX7 V4 per Mesa's owner's manual but no fix. Next removed the tank to test resistance. I'm a rookie at this, so let me list here what the K-ohm readings were on metter: Output cable resistance is .205 (I assume 200 ohms) with test leads across output jack pos/neg. Kept one test lead on the tank Output cable shield, and put other test lead on the tank Input center conductor--and the meter read 255-260. I assume that's 255,000-260,000 ohms through the tank circuit. That appears WAY high if I understand right what I've read online. Thanks for reading my trouble-shoot and letting me know if the resistances clearly call for a new Series 8 tank from you. If so I'll order with you. Thanks VERY much! Robert

We would advise replacing the tank with the same unit that was originally in it. We do offer 8AB2A1B tanks:
