The Mod Electronics Reverb Tanks are high quality upgrade units. Some of the major differences between the Mod®s and other reverb tanks are that the Transducers are wired directly to their respective RCA jacks as opposed to current production tanks where Transducers are connected by a detachable plug to their respective RCA jacks. This makes the tanks less receptive to any outside interference. The original Hammond Accutronics tanks from the 1960s were also wired directly to their respective RCA jacks. In addition, very close attention has been paid to the spacing and size of the lamination of the Transducers resulting in a more vintage like tone.

Product Reviews
Sent me reverb tank missing a mounting grommet and assembled wrong. I was surprised at the lack of detail.
The MOD reverb tanks are well made and are reasonably priced.
I had bought this tank as a replacement for my Marshall TSL 602 that I had bought used missing the original tank. I have no idea how it sounded before but this tank sounds better than any other reverb I’ve heard on a Marshall amp. It sounds very full and deep for a Marshall reverb. Obviously it’s not as prevalent as something like a deluxe reverb but for what it is I would say it’s pretty good
Perfect fit! Pure spring reverb sound!
It works well. I installed in a Marshall JCM 2000 DSL 50. I never heard the original reverb tank that this replaced, so I can't really compare. It sounds great with the clean channel and I'm still trying to decide if I like it with the lead channel instead digital reverb.
