The sockets fit well, and retained the tubes as they should.
I ordered these for an amp I was building. Out of the packaging they seem very flimsy and weak. As I was bending the pins one of them snapped on me. I thought some solder would do the trick but a few months later as I was pulling out a tube the pin completely snapped on me. I had to do another solder job. I might have gotten the bad socket out of good batch. I myself would not recommend these.
