Product Reviews
Excellent product ! and the ''audio taper'' is exactly like the 1953 IRC pot its replacing ! Most other audio taper's I've tried have had a short taper. I'm glad someone is addressing this.
What a great potmeter. Almost every other pot I've tried over the years scratch when I'm using my old Carvin S4000 wireless system. These are dead quiet and have no treble loss or "dead spots". Even if I connect my guitar to my amp with a cable or with other newer wireless systems. I never thought a potmeter could improve the sound of my guitar as much as this one. Even when the volume turned all the way up - and in theory there should be zero resistance - the sound is more open. I have the 500k pot, and I've ordered more of these for other guitars. I reccomend reading the instructions on the Bourns web site about how to ground the pot, and if you're careful with the soldering iron and don't use too much heat from the soldering iron, because of the plastic housing - You have a pot for life.
