The chassis is built well and and seems to be accurate on the demensions. The chrome plating seems to be thin wich allows the grain of metal to show through. I wouldn’t buy this again.

First, I love Antique Electronic Supply and they get 5 Stars from me.. They have been forthright, responsive and worked hard to accommodate me. Unfortunately, the manufacturer of these Chineseium chassis does't care and better quality ones are very difficult to find. These are are poorly finished, and it's a common issue, no matter who you buy from. The supplier just doesn't bother with any finish work before the chrome plating, and it shows in the finished product. The chrome is thin and scratches, ridges, or small gouges all show through. I'd happily pay a few extra dollars for a better job, but I haven't found anyone selling a better chassis. Every other part I've purchased from AES has been of great quality. Just know what your getting with this particular chassis.
