A genuine Bigsby B5 vibrato with a modified string mounting bar that features counterbore holes for a string-through style rather than the original mounting pins. This version allows for quick and easy restrings. The counterbored holes fit the string ends up into the bar. Mounting screws, arm spring, and washer included.

The B5, sometimes referred to as the Bigsby "horseshoe" is designed for flat top solid body guitars. Attaching via four screws to a guitar's top, the B5 is extremely versatile. B5s are common on many styles of guitars including SGs, Les Paul Jrs, Telecasters, and Rickenbacker 325s.

I've never had a Bigsby equipped guitar but lately I've been getting into rockabilly, so I figured what the heck, I'll get one (to put on my Les Paul Special), but having read all sorts of horror stories about stringing a trad Bigsby–trying to keep the ball ends on the pins and suggestions about pre-bending the ends and using a capo to hold them in place, etc. etc....well, it seemed more trouble than it was worth. Then I came across this pinless bar Bigsby so I went for it (along with a Vibramate V5). Installation was very easy and stringing the guitar no more difficult that a Strat (I have a bunch of those). Maybe hardcore Bigsby buffs will scoff, but I'm very happy with the pinless version.
