Power Jack - DC Panel Mount, Vintage Boss Style, 5.5mm External, 2.1mm Internal
This DC power jack is similar to those used on vintage MIJ Boss pedals and others. This jack has a 2.1mm pin for use with 5.5mm barrel plugs. Three solder lugs are available for tip, ring, and switch.

I use these for DIY pedals. Making the cutout is a hassle but it’s worth it because they look so much nicer than the jacks with external threads and the ones with internal threads are a pain when troubleshooting or modding.
Perfect fit in a vintage BOSS DS-1. The old jack was loose and caused crackling when using the pedal. Installed this and the fit was perfect, hooked up an unregulated 12Vdc power supply and the crackle was gone! Thanks AES!!
