I have some applications that require a lot of current. The Soviet 5AR4s deliver long term after many others have given up.
Ths is my 3rd Sovtek 5AR4 rectifier tube I have bought for three different DIY amplifiers. The slow warmup is a good trait as it gives the output tubes a few moments to warm up and get ready for the B+ supply. I can't speak for te longevity of this tube yet since I haven't had it for that long, but performance to date is great.
