Product Reviews
Excellent product. I purchased this for a 5F1 Tweed Champ build. I ended up using the red/white + red/yellow+ red/white transformer wires for the B+ (e.g. the 275V tap). I tried using the red+red/yel+red 325V wires, but B+ was way too high and cathode current was over 45 milliamps. The 275 volt tap wires (red with white stripe) work perfectly. In addition, this transformer is the proper dimension to fit in the chassis and cabinet. Very happy with this transformer and performance. I also purchased the output transformer with 4 and 8-ohm secondary plus 5K and 8K primary windings. I'm using the 4-ohm and 8K wires and this combination works perfectly. Excellent product and value--highly recommended.
Required for a Fender Champ clone build. Heavy duty, well built and shipped quickly. Tubes and more has been a good source and usually has what I need.
