PCB and parts kit for the Zonk Machine. This is based on the original PCB version. This kit includes all of the resistors and capacitors used on the included circuit board. The germanium PNP transistors are not included such that customers can select and test their own. In addition to the PCB parts, a footswitch, pots, jacks, and battery snap are all included in this parts kit.

Note: Transistors, P-HFZ-2 enclosure, and wire are not included.

The Zonk Machine premium parts kit includes the following high quality parts:

The included 22uF electrolytic is used in place of the 25uF listed in the wiring diagrams.

The vintage style gray and blue shielded wire seen in photos is S-W113. The build in the photos used 1 foot but more or less may be needed depending on the enclosure used.

A mix of S-W22 and S-W3222TC-X-50 was used for the non-shielded wire connections. These are both high quality wires with color options that have a similar appearance as the wire used in the original builds. S-W3222TC-X-50 features a top-coat of solder so no tinning is required. S-W22 was used for the connections between the two halves of the enclosure since it is a little more flexible. Please note that the wire passthrough hole on the fiberboard battery clip will need to be enlarged to fit either of these wires. S-W3024TC-X-50 will fit the battery clip without any modifications.

A stripped piece of insulation from S-W902B was used on the input cap to match the style of insulation used in original pedals.

The P-HFZ-2 is a great enclosure option for Zonk inspired builds but it does require some drilling to enlarge the jack mounting holes to fit the Cliff jacks.
