Junk!!! These should have never made it past QC. I am amazed CTS sold these to anyone. The switch is bad, and the pot part is also bad. "IF" anyone is going to order out a 1 Meg Audio taper push pull jack it should have the 90% tap for the Fender treble bleed master volume resistor and it should NOT be a rickety piece of junk that is destined to fail very prematurely.

Hate how much play there is in these pots as you're turning the dial. For example, on my amp, if the pot is on 3 there is so much play that the dial can flop around from almost as far as 2-4 without actually changing the volume. Another way of looking at it: Being on volume = 4 is different depending on if you approached that point from a lower or higher volume.
I agree with the other poster, this thing is junk...I installed it and the pot itself would not work...I set it up as a push pull cathode bypass switch on the volume control...the switch part worked fine but not so the pot...
Avoid this potentiometer at any and all cost, they’re complete junk.
It’s cost me well over a $1000.00 in return shipping and other cost and damages done to customer relations because of these failures.
Look for a better way to switch as these mechanical switches are going to fail miserably shortly after they’re installed..
