Marshall DSL PC boards are notoriously horrible, and from what I gather, these boards were NEVER pretested, and the ONLY actual testing done on the originals was done when the board was populated and stuck inside the amp. Problems with the originals were manifold, from open traces to open vias, and made from materials that could become conductive in damp climates. Sometimes you NEED to ere on the side of caution, especially with the good sounding, but poorly made DSL series, and just replace this board, & be done with it BEFORE you waste three to five days pulling your hair out, only to realize the original board is junk, and you cannot make that amp go again without a buying new one. To make matters worse, these original boards could take expensive parts like transformers right down the drain with them, so why chance it? Ask yourself, and your customer, "Do you like this amp enough to spend $350-$500 for a new board, and maybe another $200-$600 for transformers? These amps will definitely be much more reliable than they ever were before. Marshall really screwed the pooch with this lowest bidder board design, and Antique Electronics has the solution at hand. It's worth it to me. I just realized these are available right in my home town.

Board was exactly as I expected. Arrived fast and installed just like original. Biased up perfectly and runs quietly.

Highly recommend the change on the older dsl100.
