These are good and I used them on a guitar amp I am building.
Great replacement jack. Top quality product.
These jacks are a budget friendly choice, and decent quality. The only problem I've had with these jacks, so far, has been with the chrome plating. When I first tried soldering to this jack, the solder puddle would bead up and cling to the iron tip, or wick up the wire. I ended up spending a good deal of time scraping through the plating on the solder terminals to get a good solder joint. The plating was pretty tough, but an emory stick, or maybe a fine grinding wheel on a dremel would make short work of it. If these had a more solder friendly plating I'd give them 5 stars instead of 4. I've also used switchjack brand, and never had problems with solder adherence.
