parts fit right, still working on it. It a knight space spanner kit, from the fifties. maybe ordering more parts!

My tube chart in my Silverface Princeton Reverb calls for this tube in V2. My tremolo wasn't working when I bought the amp. One site suggested the bias may be off. I went ahead and installed this tube, set my bias (I installed a 10kl pot as per "Uncle Dave on youtube) and my reverb and tremolo sound great. Note: I made no modifications such as holes. The mod I did is fully reversible.

Same as with the 12AX7 Gold Pin JJ,. . . unreal, in a good way.

for the Phase inverter slot

Great tube, use them mostly for FX loops!

Klearchos - Formyx Amps - March 21st, 2015

For the position of Reverb driver, usually V3 on typical Fender guitar amplifier, this works just fine. It's construction stability and electrical reliability just suite for the reverb driver which is usually stressed very much with higer plate voltage and higher current than the other pre-amp position. For the position of phase inverter, usually V6, I pick other brand though.

Yasuhiro Tokuda - March 13th, 2015

I have used a pair of these tubes with another pair of 12AU7, on a Yaqin MS 110b.
I'm not a pro but the sound was exactly like a transistor amp !(a Quad 405...with more hssss)
For some it could be good ! i believe that. For me, and because the issue was on KT88 in fine, i have rolled back to the shuguang tubes, really better. I have kept the quad KT88 from JJ, they are good.

I put these on my Hickok 800A as soon as I got them and they practically pegged the meter. Excellent tubes!
