These are better than NOS 6sl7's. The 6sl7 can be noisy and these are quiet and use modern advances in tube design and construction to give better performance vs the NOS tubes. Not even MIL spec tubes will offer better reliability. The price for the JJ tubes is very good and they sound GREAT! I am very pleased!
