These tubes perform perfectly in a push-pull hi-fi amp (an old Pilot 1030). The Pilot amps were little known, but on a par with the best high-end equipment in the 1950's. After re-capping the filter caps with F&T electrolytics (the best I've ever used in 45+ years), I attempted to match the many 6v6 tubes I have in my inventory. Nothing came close enough, so I ordered these Russian tubes as a matched pair. I was amazed how well they work together! I generally check out amps by monitoring the applied input sine-wave signal and the speaker output signal on a dual-trace scope, and comparing the waveforms. My best-matched pairs had a "glitch" at various frequencies, but these Russian tubes were dead-nuts-on from 15 hz to over 30 hz. (The Pilot amp is of excellent design, and the output transformer handled this frequency range with nearly flat response.) I am impressed. Don't even bother with "NOS" tubes; IMHO these are as good as they get.

A well-built 6V6, and sounds great as well. I use them in my '65 Deluxe Reverb when I want true vintage tones. For *heavier* rock tones I switch to JJ's. That little bit of 6L6-ish tone can be great, when needed.

Best New Production 6V6 available. The toughness of these things is legendary. Physically they resemble the old RCA or Hytron 6V6GTY tubes. The manufacturer says these tubes will handle 450 volts on the plate easily, and I can verify that.. I have operated them at 500 volts. I have abused these tubes mercilessly and they keep going and sounding good.

Excellent product. Received in a very short time frame. Being used in a 1975 mini bass Garnet amp which brought the amp back to life! Bravo!!

I purchased a quad set of Electro-Harmonix 6V6GTs from Tubes and More or Antique Electronic Supply. Their service was outstanding considering I live in Australia as from the time of my order and receiving my package was 4 days. The tubes or valves as we call them in Australia and the freight was well priced. It is not the first time I have purchased off Antique Electronic Supply and won't be the last as I make a few stereos and sell them from time to time. I would certainly recommend this company to others considering the Chinese are aggressively selling product around the world setting up agents especially in Australia. Paul Boland.

I read online that these were the best at handling the high voltage used in many older Fender designs. They settled in very nicely , no red-plating and sound very strong.
