If you have a Silverface Champ, then this cover should work. We have a Silverface Champ in house and the cover fits perfectly!

Will it fit a Blackface or Silverface Vibro-Champ?

You will want to measure your Vibro Champ and compare it with the following dimensions: Height: 14" Width: 17" Depth: 7".

This is a generic cover for use on Fender amplifiers. In this case, the vintage Silverface Champ.

Hi, this amp cover has the following dimensions: Height: 14" Width: 17" Depth: 7.5." If your amp fits these dimensions, then it will fit. Fender's website states that the Blues Jr. has a height of 16" and a width of 18" I would confirm this with your own amp. If that is the case then it will not fit.

The best thing to do is compare the following dimensions with your amp to ensure a proper fit: Height: 14" Width: 17" Depth: 7".

My last review accidentally had this at 5 stars. Corrected this now.
The cover has a terrible fit. Tested on three different champ/vibro-champs.
Don't buy this! Get something that fits right for a few more bucks

This is a terrible cover. The material is cheapish (which I expected at this price), but most importantly it has a terrible fit.

I have a 65 vibro champ, a 72 vibro champ, and a 73 champ.
It doesn't fit any of them well. It's too small. You have to pull it hard over the amp and it doesn't even go all the way to the bottom, and then the corners are all tight and pinched and the handle hole doesn't line up.

This would be a great cover if it fit. I highly recommend not buying this, and spending a few more dollars to get something that actually fits well.

Tight fit tat barely covers the bottom front. Not very well tailored to control panel tilted angle and cut-out around handle slightly misaligned. Overall acceptable. Nice thick gauge material. Priced right. Would definitely NOT pay any more.

Fits my 1969 Champ perfectly on all dimensions. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the tolex appears to be raw "gluing grade" on the underside, which may prove abrasive on grill cloth while traveling or the slip on/off process. Original Fender tolex covers actually had a softer felt-style texture on the inside.

Good basic quality. Good value for the price. Fits older Champs only and some other older amps. Will NOT fit the newer XD Champ, Vibro-Champ models.

This cover was purchased as the finishing touch for a silverface Champ restoration project. While not a fancy, hi-end cover as found on some of the swankiest boutique amps, it's definitely equal to many OEM covers and even clearly superior to some. The construction is clean and defect-free, with good quality stitching and straight seams and piping. As noted in the item description, it's made from Tolex-type material that matches vintage Fender amps fairly well, giving it a decidedly OEM appearance. Because it is shipped folded, it'll have a lot of heavy wrinkles (just as depicted in the photos) when removed from the package, but these can be easily smoothed out in a few minutes with a hair dryer if you so desire.

The cover fits a silverface Champ quite loosely, which many (myself included) would see as a positive because it quickly, effortlessly drops over the amp, without having to wiggle it down into place. However, as a downside it could possibly ride up if the amp was being transported in say, a car trunk, pickup bed or equipment trailer, especially if laid on its back for the ride.

If I'm not mistaken, a blackface Champ cabinet should be the same dimensions as a silverface, hence this cover should fit it as well. However, I cannot verify that, plus the fact that AES describes this item as specifically fitting a silverface. So, do take note of this if looking for a cover for your blackface, and make sure it'll fit before ordering.

This cover represents good value for the money, will last you a lifetime in normal use, and is relatively inexpensive insurance against transport damage of your valuable vintage Champ, besides simply keeping it dust-free when in storage. Whether you have the original Tolex in like-new condition or a laborious, expensive recover job, this is just the ticket to protect your investment and keep it looking great.

This cover fits my Fender Super Champ perfectly. A good deal for the money.

Overall very sturdy and fits snug over amp. My only complaint is that the inside texture is very rough and feels as if it might chafe parts if the amp eventually. Very pleased otherwise.
