High performance version of the popular 715P series. They are made from polypropylene film and foil with pure copper leads, making them ideal for high pulse current applications. Rated for 85 degrees celsius operation ± 5% tolerance. Straight radial leads, minimum 1.25" length.

This series is manufactured with polypropylene film and extended foil. Polypropylene has a very low dissipation factor, low dielectric absorption, and exhibits excellent capacitance stability. These characteristics combined with the direct connection of the lead wire to the extended foil electrode makes this series ideal for high current, high pulse applications.

I was a little concerned when I upgraded my Dynakit with the VTA 70 board that it sounded a bit harsh. Switching out the stock coupling capacitors with Orange Drop 716ps smoothed it all out and made a stunning difference. Highly recommended.

These are the classic standard by which other caps are compared. Why not just buy the real deal and quit worrying over it. A E S makes them affordable so "why go anywhere else"?

Never buy the 715s, always buy the 716Ps. Copper Leads, does pulse information, a much better sounding Orange Drop. Its wider band sounding. 715s are like listening to gravel.
