Used this to restore a Gates Radio M-5078 AM Shortwave transmitter. This cap is used in the modulator and is used in a plug-in socket instead of the normal "twist" into the chassis application. So the value, V rating and most important physical layout and size were critical. This is a near exact replacement for the Mallory FP426 which only differs with the 426 having 15uf on the "square" pin. I even carefully removed the original Mallory label and wrapped it on to this one. Absolutely perfect for this historical restoration. This is the only known working example of this transmitter know to exist, so thank you CE Mfg for helping to make this museum quality restoration possible.

This cap is an exact replacement for the old cap in my Ampex F-4470.
It was kind of difficult to replace, but once done, works great.
I glad there is a source for these type of electrolytics.
