One of our employees has a CE manufacturing can cap in his Vibro Champ. I would still suggest comparing your existing can to ours.

In most cases it is safe to go higher in voltage when replacing capacitors. There are some exceptions to this rule, and if you aren't sure, we advise you consult a professional repair tech. Often times higher voltage caps will also be physically larger than the originals, so you will want to determine this cap will fit in your unit before making your purchase.

The S-H120 works on both three and four section caps.

Looks and functions as original in National HRO-60. Tested for capacitance and ESR before installation. Well within tolerance. (Original cap was 40-40 uF, the 2 20 uF sections paralled together equal 40 uF.)

I bought this to replace the original multi-section cap in my 1982 Fender Champ. This is an exact replacement in size and performance. You could accomplish the same thing with separate discrete caps for less money but why not spend a few more bucks and do it right?

Fit perfectly and works. What else can I ask? It has one more cap than I needed, but no issue there.

I ordered for the first time from Japan. I got it safely with polite packaging. I will use it for Fender Vibro Champ ('76).

Nearly perfect replacement for a 40/20/10 500V 3-section can from an old Ampex Stereo Console Power Amp... Fits perfectly, but temperature rating could be higher. ...Originally 80 degrees C, this replacement is 50 degrees C (which I suppose is the reason it's also shorter than the original). This should only affect lifespan; otherwise works perfectly.

Great substitution for a worn out vibro champ or bronco amp. Looks and plays the part well. Brought my anemic bronco back to life. When you need to do a cap job the right way, there's only one way to go. Thanks tubes and more/antique electronics.
