The S-H120 should be the correct insulator for this cap: https://www.tubesandmore.com/products/insulator-4-section-fp-cap

These caps are formed as part of the manufacturing process.

You will need a hole to accommodate the mounting style you are using. Since these are mostly used with high voltages, we would recommend a single large hole to reduce the risk of arcing or shorting the tabs.

The voltage rating applied to capacitors refer to the maximum amount of voltage it can safely run through it without damage, so in most cases, replacing a cap with one with a higher voltage is absolutely fine. The one thing to keep in mind is that most of the time, going higher in voltage will result in a larger capacitor, so in some cases there is a size restraint that prevents that from being an option.

Was looking for a 40-40-40 at 350v and could not find at my normal electronic supply houses. Someone at Eham.net suggested Antique Electonic Supply and this item fit the need and was the proper dimensions. Was what I was looking for to complete restoration of my Collins 75A4.

This is a drop-in replacement for the C61 ( 40/40/40uf @ 450vdc ) can capacitor in my Browning Mark III transmitter ! The transmitter now operates like new with good signal and audio reports ! Antique Electronic Supply will be my one stop shop for my tube radio restorations from now on ! Many thanks , Bruce

Replaced Mallory can caps from the 80's and slow-formed them using a variac and an in-rush limiter. My amp maxed out at 510v with no tube load and the caps held as they should have. These CE Mfg. caps fit perfectly in the legacy 'twist-type' mounting brackets.

The amp had a low frequency oscillation and hum with the old caps. Now the amp is now very quiet, crisp and clear. I will be purchasing more!

I restore tube type Citizens band radios like the Tram and Browning models of days past. These capacitors are well worth every penny and are quality replacement pieces manufactured to the highest standards. I would recommend for any restorations requiring multi-section canister style capacitors.

Works just as it should and, for me this is important, it looks original rather than the shiny plated capacitor cans offered by others.

This 3 section cap is the perfect fit for the Collins 75A-4 receiver.
Unlike other 'can' caps, this cap has true 'twist lok' tabs to enable you to get a positive, tight, no-rattle secure mounting to the chassis.
The cap values checked close to the marked capacitance.
It arrived quickly and I installed it the same day.
Of course....it worked just fine!!!
This is nothing new around here though as I have previously used several of these multisection caps from Antique and will continue to do so.
Thanks for a great product!!
