This 3 section cap is the perfect fit for the Collins 75A-4 receiver.
Unlike other 'can' caps, this cap has true 'twist lok' tabs to enable you to get a positive, tight, no-rattle secure mounting to the chassis.
The cap values checked close to the marked capacitance.
It arrived quickly and I installed it the same day.
Of course....it worked just fine!!!
This is nothing new around here though as I have previously used several of these multisection caps from Antique and will continue to do so.

Bought this to replace the existing can cap on a Vintage Tel-Ray oil can delay unit. The new CE capacitor came all scuffed up, looking like it had been rolling around in the bed of a pickup truck for the last year. I spoke with customer support and they said that is how they come, so I kept it but I'm not very happy about it. It looks worse than the one I'm replacing.
Additionally I measured the sections to all be 47 Mfd which is barely within a 20% tolerance. I would have liked to see that a bit closer.
Purchased to replace the original filter cap in a Fisher A600 stereo. Perfect fit and a 525 volt rating too

I've found this capacitor to be the most appropriate, if you are doing museum class restoration of a Collins 75A-4. Quality seems very good although I can't comment on long term use.
An American made capacitor? A good product at a fairly reasonable price, and it's made here, what's not to like??
I have been very well pleased with CE Manufacturing's can capacitors. It's hard to find the size you need to restore older audio equipment, so I consistently turn to Antique Electronics and the CE Mfgr line! Good stuff! Not cheap, but we'll made!
