I am re-capping my 1970 Swan 270 Cygnet HF ham transceiver. And did a power supply modification to my
Hallicrafters S120 shortwave radio. I received this as a birthday present when I was around 12. I am 73 now hopefully passing it on. Thank you for the great service.
product was delivered quicky matched the factory configuration and worked great. Thanks
Was looking for a 40-40-40 at 350v and could not find at my normal electronic supply houses. Someone at Eham.net suggested Antique Electonic Supply and this item fit the need and was the proper dimensions. Was what I was looking for to complete restoration of my Collins 75A4.
excellent quality parts, thanks
Prefect match for the electrolytic cap in the Collins 75A-4.
This is a drop-in replacement for the C61 ( 40/40/40uf @ 450vdc ) can capacitor in my Browning Mark III transmitter ! The transmitter now operates like new with good signal and audio reports ! Antique Electronic Supply will be my one stop shop for my tube radio restorations from now on ! Many thanks , Bruce
Replaced Mallory can caps from the 80's and slow-formed them using a variac and an in-rush limiter. My amp maxed out at 510v with no tube load and the caps held as they should have. These CE Mfg. caps fit perfectly in the legacy 'twist-type' mounting brackets.
The amp had a low frequency oscillation and hum with the old caps. Now the amp is now very quiet, crisp and clear. I will be purchasing more!
I restore tube type Citizens band radios like the Tram and Browning models of days past. These capacitors are well worth every penny and are quality replacement pieces manufactured to the highest standards. I would recommend for any restorations requiring multi-section canister style capacitors.
Great.quality capacitor!
Works just as it should and, for me this is important, it looks original rather than the shiny plated capacitor cans offered by others.
