I have used F&T capacitors many times in amps that I have built. I needed to replace an old Atom 20 uf 200v (60 years old?) as it had a bubble and I was getting that stray AC sound. I could have gone with a lot lower voltage bypass, but I always overbuilt my amps. Works great!

I have been prompted by email to immediately review these capacitors which have not yet been used to recap an amp.
However, I have used them before and they work well, last a good long time and even look good in an amp, which just adds that little something extra.
I’ve been using F&T capacitors for quit a few years now and I highly recommend them. They are reasonably priced, consistently within spec and last a very long time. If you do your research you’ll find theres a great deal of people in the amp repair business that swear by these as an alternative to some of those expensive pretty caps that are available.
