Product Reviews
Outstanding!
I have used F&T electrolytic caps in many guitar amp projects and repairs with excellent results. They are also very reasonably priced and I have never had one fail. I previously used Sprague Atom caps exclusively but, they have become quite expensive and are not always available in the values I need.
Higher voltage rating than some others and a better deal than Atoms. FYI, these have ~50% larger diameter than the 22uF caps, so they're quite big. Make sure you have the space! Great filter caps.
Well-made and reliable, I use these for filter cap jobs on vintage amps. Perfect for when your vintage piece is getting a bit higher voltages than the schematic specifies... Also using these for custom builds. I recommend these to all my customers.
Good
Ahem...what I know about capacitor performance could fit on the head of a pin. But the 75 year old son of the owner of a vintage radio repair and electronic supply shop since 1944 tells me that Sprague Atoms aren't any better than any other cap and that Sprague has been bought, sold and split up so many times who knows where the caps come from. These F&T caps are half the cost and made in Germany. How bad can they be?
High-Quality capacitor that is physically smaller than the dead cap it replaced!
Exellent
Good cap, works great.
A quality Capacitor. Recommended by other users. What can I say, a capacitor is a capacitor? Antique Electronics Supply always has what I want!
