Mod® Electronics electrolytic capacitors provide builders with quality capacitors that offer long-lasting performance at the highest degree. These capacitors are designed with tube amplifiers in mind; each capacitor is rated at 105°C. This temperature rating provides a highly-stable capacitance in any device, be it vacuum tube or solid state. The Mod® electrolytic capacitor line features capacitance values that are common in many vintage amplifiers but are not readily available today. Builders and techs can confidently use these capacitors to match the original specifications of their equipment.

For a basic axial 105 degree rated 2000 hour aluminum electrolytic capacitor these are doing a really GREAT JOB, (so far). The axial caps are getting harder and harder to find and more expensive, so I have been using radial caps where I can, and buying 5000-20,000 hour caps depending on the project and other factors, but I have yet find a Mod product that I really don't like. Speakers? The cheaper 12 inch Mod speaker for a new Twin Reverb is actually an upgrade to my ears, and they are cheaper than the factory speakers. These caps are the same way for Fender's factory caps. These caps are an upgrade over the Fender factory installed IC caps. That does NOT make the IC caps bad caps. These caps are just better quality caps.

Seemed like my amp sounded better with these than F&T caps. Decent price and time will tell how these hold up.
This will be my go to brand now.

I replaced 3 Sprague Atoms (a preamp filter and two for preamp cathode bypass) with Mod. One Atom, a 16 uf 475v, was only 5 years old and was alrready leaking. These Mod caps are physically smaller, much cheaper and my amp sounds great with them. I can't detect a performance difference from the Spragues. I hope they are longer lasting than the over-hyped Spragues.
