I always liked this style of capacitors ever since They were made by Sprague. They work very well in my antique radios. Please have manufacturer to put the value of the capacitor along with part number on each unit.

Hello, I am very happy with the orange drop capacitors, and have used them in my antique radios for quite a while now, and I am happy with the results. I hope you will continue to supply these capacitors for years to come, they are the best!

Hi all,
I have a question and hoping someone out there can answer it for me.
I recently purchased some Orange drops from Just Radios and they turned up and were Brown epoxy coated, when queried, I read they ran out of orange epoxy which I figured is a Lie as an orange drop is an orange drop isn't it? always orange? hence there name Orange drop If someone knows some facts about this could you please steer me right. Thanks in advance. Bruclater

Always a toss-up between Orange Drop Poly caps and Mallory 150's.

This time, Orange Drop had the exact value available.

I don't like Orange drop caps except for these babies. 715 series is too harsh for my taste, I like the 716 for hi-fi and these are heavenly for guitar amps (though I have them in my own home-made single 45 amp!) They have nice definition and nice warmth. Best for phase inverters in old Fenders or other amps. Great for restoring old Fisher or Scott amps as well. Antique Electronic Supply is the only carrier I know that has these and I'm grateful they do.
