Circuit Design

Prototyping circuit board (PCB) designed to fit the Hammond 1590B die-cast aluminum enclosure. It has a convenient 2-hole pattern, which provides an easy way to connect parts while maximizing usable board area. High quality, made in USA lead formers. These are great tools for bending component leads to fit various footprints. The radiused ends provide a right angle bend that does not stress the metal lead. These lead formers are made of high impact ABS plastic.

Adhesive backed standoff with M3 threading. The high-strength adhesive tape allows the standoff to be securely mounted, providing an easy option for mounting PCBs in enclosures. These standoffs use a captive metal nut in a strong nylon plastic base for a durable and lightweight solution.

Premium 9V battery clip with a rigid plastic frame. This high quality battery snap features nickel-plated phosphor bronze contacts. The six inch leads are 26 AWG stranded wire, prestripped and tinned for an easy installation.

Low-profile adhesive standoffs with a 0.180" standoff height that securely attaches your PCB to a flat surface. The post inserts into a 0.125” mounting hole and includes a locking tab that secures the PCB when inserted. It can be used with 1/16” or 1/32” thick PCBs. The 0.6 x 0.6” square base is offset to allow the base to be underneath the board when the mounting hole is close to the PCB edge and the offset base provides a large sticking surface while permitting the PCB to be mounted in tight spaces or close to walls. This can be useful when working with small enclosures. High-quality 3M™ brand double-sided tape secures the standoff to a flat surface. These standoffs are available in packs of 8, 24, or 100 pieces Features:

Tin plated brass eyelets commonly used on vintage style pickups. The small sized eyelets are also great for smaller point-to-point projects such as DIY stomp boxes. The outside diameter of the barrel is 0.089” and the recommended mounting hole is 0.093” using a #42 drill bit.

Nine ranges give precision readings from 0.1 pF to 20,000 µF. Can be used to check virtually all capacitors for tolerance value, selecting matched sets, etc.

Black stripboard featuring a 0.15” vintage spacing. This spacing is great for vintage-style builds and more easily accommodates axial capacitors and other larger sized vintage parts like resistors and transistors. The board has 40 x 20 holes (20 strips). Each strip is HASL coated making soldering easier than most protoboards and also ensures a long shelf life. Features:

5 foot long desoldering braid. Great for removing solder from printed circuit boards or other electronic equipment.

Stripboard made with a phenolic substrate. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This stripboard features standard 0.1” (2.54mm) spacing. The board has a 30x15 grid (15 strips) and easily fits into 1590BB style enclosures and larger vintage-style fuzz enclosures. Each strip is gold coated making soldering easier than most protoboards and also ensures a long shelf life. Features:

ST2 StripBoard is a prototyping circuit board with a standard long strip pattern. Tracks run the length of the board. The long tracks are convenient for power and ground rails, and for signal buses. Strips can be cut as needed to make smaller tracks and circuit pads. It has 0.1" hole spacing for DIP integrated circuits and headers and other parts. ST2 has higher quality than traditional stripboard. The holes are drilled, not punched. The base material is high-quality FR4 glass epoxy board. It has better stability and moisture resistance than boards using phenolic or SRBP (synthetic resin bonded paper), which can warp with exposure to humidity. Features
