Worked on a 1937 radio

Exellent gain, this osc. coil works good in Am/mw mini transmitters as well as being a good coil for regenerative radios.

Mice got to the oscillator coil in a Magnavox CR-216 chassis. Used this as a replacement and it worked just fine. No trouble with alignment.

I had multiple failures in these coils, several have brokem while I assembled my device and another while I adjusted it.
In addition the allen key adjustment is Difficult to adjust with standard tools, because the metal in the allen keyeffects the inductance of the coil.

These coils are great. They are an excellent replacement for tube type local oscillators or any high impedance rf circuit.
