What size strain relief for this cord?
Asked by redfishbum on November 14th, 2015.
The P-H1200 and P-H1300 strain reliefs will work well with this cord. You would need to determine the chassis hole size for the compatible strain relief for your project.

Can you provide comparison between this cord and the 18-gauge cord referenced below (and the 12' version of same) with regard to flexibility/pliability? Thank you

The 18AWG cable will be slightly more flexible, but this is simply because the wire itself is thinner.

Product Reviews
Great quality cord.. Had to slightly modify the strain relief on my '66 Fender amp due to larger diameter of the new cord, but it works well.
Terrific, heavy-duty 16 gauge power cord for my vintage Fender amplifiers. Now I can plug in without getting a shock or killed by the death cap! Great product, fast shipping...Antique Electronics rocks!
Replaced broken power cords on a Peavey VTM 120 and an Ampeg V-4B. A bit thicker and heavier duty than the old cords... took some finagling but managed to fit in the old cord strain reliefs and made a good replacement.
If you are looking for a power cord that will fit the strain relief of Fender Tweed and Blackface and Silverface amplifiers, this is the one to get.
Quality cord, and price is right
I used this to replace a power chord on a vintage amp, paired with a new two way switch in place of the factory three way power switch, no more annoying switch flipping to get rid of that awful hum. Great product and great price.
Good product, no complaints
When power cord replacement is needed for old Fender amplifier, never rework without this one. AWG16 wire is quite powerfull.
Don't forget to purchase strain relief to install firmly.
Nice quality for a budget price.
