Nice tubes, delivers great tones and almost noiseless. Theses re-brand but you pay for consistency. Did a good job in my blues JR. Would put them in v2 and v3 for the regularity and match them with what suit your ears in v1.

This is a really nice tube ! fantastic crunch ! all the dynamics I love are there without any top end shrilly stuff ! I will be buying more for sure.

Love the TAD tubes! These 12ax7's really shine! I have the lower gain tubes installed in a vox ac15c1 and a fender concert pro tube series 112. They are very warm, and break up nicely with a very smooth response! They are dead quiet in the fender, and just a little noisy in the vox, and don't seem microphonic at all in either amp. I play mostly p&w music, the guitars i use are a gretsch falcon and a strat with cs texas specials. I would highly recommend these tubes!!

I own a Blackstar HT Series HT-DISTX Tube High Gain Distortion Guitar Effects Pedal. After a couple of years I felt I should replace the tube. At the music store a cleark gave me a 12AX7 tube. After installation it sounded too distorted and muddy so looked closer at the tube I had re4moved and realized it was an ECC83-WA not a 12AX7. Close but no cigar. The ECC83-83 is crisper and give me the highs that I had grown accustomed to. Thanks Antique Electronic Supply. I'm whole again.
