New old stock Soviet GT309E transistors manufactured in Ukraine. The GT309E is a germanium PNP transistor in a very low profile case. The case has a 0.29” diameter and is only 0.1” thick. These have very low leakage and work well in a variety of fuzz pedal builds.

Bourns trimmer adjustment tool. This tool is compatible with both the R-VT96Y-X multiturn trimmers and the R-VT62P-X single turn trimmers. The recessed end is especially helpful when used with the 3296Y trimmers to avoid slipping off of the screw adjuster. Features

ACY31 PNP germanium transistors. The ACY31 is a popular PNP for fuzz pedals and other effects. The ACY31 can be found in the rare CSL Super Fuzz version of the MKIV Tone Bender. This transistor is in a TO-1 package with long leads commonly found on germanium transistors.

TI377 PNP germanium transistors from Texas Instruments. The TI377 is a great PNP for fuzz pedals and other effects. This transistor is in a metal SO-2 package with long leads commonly found on germanium transistors. This package with the gold leads visually matches the 2G308, 2G309, and 2G381 transistors found in Zonk and Tonebender MKI fuzz pedals.

J201 N-Channel JFET in a TO-92 package. The J201 is designed primarily for low level audio and general purpose applications with high impedance signal sources.

Original Dunlop replacement gear for wah potentiometers (C-ring included). The gear has 14 teeth and a flatted inner diameter to fit securely onto a potentiometer with flatted shaft. The included C-ring is placed over the top end of the gear to keep it from sliding off the end of the potentiometer shaft.

High-quality USA made knobs from Rogan Corp. These large knobs feature a metal insert, spun aluminum inlay, and a skirt with an infilled arrow indicator. The RB-67 Series from Rogan is popularly used on Buchla 200 Series modular synthesizers and can be found on many contemporary eurorack synthesizers.

HS Treble Booster style circuit board made with a phenolic substrate for an even closer match to the vintage production boards. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This board is a recreation of the circuit board found in the Hornby Skewes ‘Treble Booster’ pedal. The board is styled after a version of the silicon Treble Booster but can be used for the germanium version as well. When drawing the layout, original boards were closely referenced to ensure a proper match and fit. The copper traces have a surface treatment providing protection from corrosion. This board includes a blank mounting PCB. This PCB sits directly beneath the main board to mount it directly to the enclosure using a screw. Solid aluminum knobs with set screws. These circular knobs are a close match for the classic knobs used on Baldwin-Burns guitars and effects such as the Buzzaround. They feature a solid aluminum construction with a concave top and a vertical knurl for grip. Fits ¼” (6.35mm) pot shafts.

This PCB sits directly beneath the main board to mount it directly to the enclosure using screws. 2N1308 NPN germanium transistors. The 2N1308 is a popular NPN for fuzz pedals and other effects. This transistor is in a TO-39 package.

Extra heavy duty carbon zinc batteries from GP. The GP Greencell AA is a favorite for fuzz pedals like the FZ-1 / FZ-1A and is the stock battery for many boutique builders such as Pigdog and others. Additionally, these batteries are a great choice for any low current battery powered pedal or other devices.

Handheld suction type solder remover.

Large skirted aluminum knob with indicator line and set screw. This solid aluminum knob has a 1.125 in. diameter skirt and ¾” grip that features a minimalistic style of fluting. The knob uses dual set screws to ensure no slipping once set on the pot’s shaft. Fits ¼” (6.35mm) pot shafts.

The AS3080ED is Alfa’s version of the CA3080 IC in an SOIC package. The AS3080ED is a gain block which is the operational-transconductance-amplifier (OTA). The AS3080ED has differential input and a single-ended, push-pull, class A output. Amplifier bias input may be used either for gating or for linear gain control. High output impedance and transconductance (gM) is directly proportional to the amplifier bias current (IABC). Linearizing diodes are provided at the inputs to reduce distortion and allow higher input levels. The result is a 10-dB signal-to-noise improvement referenced to 0.5 percent THD.
The AS3080ED is notable for it’s high slew rate (50V/µs), which makes it especially useful for multiplexer and fast unity-gain voltage followers.

Solderable PC BreadBoard enables you to transfer your circuit and wires from a plug-in breadboard without recutting wires or changing your layout. This breadboard has the same pattern as a standard 400 connection point solderless plug-in breadboard which has a standard 5-hole strip for each IC pin, just like solderless breadboards. However, it has the advantage that soldered joints provide a more reliable long-term connection than solderless contacts. The board has four power rails like solderless breadboards, plus two bonus rails for power or signals. There are bonus two-hole pads along the centerline allowing DIL (dual in-line) headers to be used as well as a top side silkscreen to position components.
