The BC182 is a general purpose NPN transistor in a TO-92 case. The BC182 is commonly used in fuzz pedals and has a reputation as a warm sounding silicon transistor for fuzz. The BC182 has a more narrow hFE range than the BC183 which can be helpful for certain builds.

The XVive MN3007 is a drop-in replacement for the original Panasonic 1024-stage MN3007 BBD chip used in many chorus, vibrato, and flanger pedals and effects. The MN3007 is a 1024-stage, low-noise, long-delay BBD that provides a signal delay of up to 51.2 milliseconds. Due to its long delay times, the MN3007 is especially suitable for reverb effects in electronic musical instruments and PA equipment.

Latching DPDT footswitch, PC mount. Made in Taiwan.

Square 3.62” x 3.62” x 1.50” Hammond 1590Y enclosure. This enclosure is a stylish option for builds offering a similar amount of space as a 1950BB enclosure.

Chassis ground washer for 15/32” hardware such as footswitches, full-size Carling toggles, and Switchcraft toggles. These grounding lug washers have a 0.48” inner diameter and also work with M12 hardware. The ¼” tab can be used with quick disconnects or can be directly soldered to wire.

Threaded through dress nuts for use with mini toggle switches. Unlike the other versions of this dress nut, this nut is not capped allowing the nut to thread past the top of the switch’s bushing. The uncapped top can be useful where internal depth is an issue such as parallel PCB mounting. These plated dress nuts feature a chamfered edge for a professional look and work on any 1/4-40 UNS threaded bushing. Two sides are flatted for use with a tool when fastening.

Replacement Dunlop felt pad for use with wah pedals. This circular felt pad has an adhesive side for an easy installation. The pad is typically installed on the underside of the pedal directly above the footswitch to cushion the contact when switching the wah on and off. Made in USA.

Standard size terminal strips, 1/16" thick bakelite, tin plated steel solder lugs and brackets on 3/8" centers. Vertical mount.

Two rows of 12 U-style terminals (24 total) on a black board. This U-style terminal strip is extra dense with 6.35mm terminal spacing allowing for even more densely populated point-to-point builds. The boards are 0.063” thick. This 24 lug turret board is a close match to the board found in Burns BuzzAround pedals.

2SC945 NPN transistors. This is a silicon NPN transistor in a TO-92 package. The 2SC945 was used in many classic Boss pedals such as the CE-2 chorus.

Small plastic knobs with set screw and brass insert. Similar to the small knobs used on many Dunlop / MXR pedals. These knobs have a fluted grip with an indicator line as well as a dot indicator on the skirt. Fits ¼” (6.35mm) pot shafts.

MKIII & MKIV fuzz circuit board made with a phenolic substrate for an even closer match to the vintage production boards. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This board is a recreation of the circuit board found in Vox Tone Bender MKIII pedals. The board is styled after the non-reverse version that can also be found in the Park Fuzz Sound, Rotosound Fuzz, and the MKIV Tone Bender. When drawing the layout, original boards were closely referenced to ensure a proper match and fit. The copper traces have a surface treatment providing protection from corrosion. This board uses a unique PCB mount potentiometer R-VOMUP-100KL. A matching enclosure P-HROTO-1 can be used with the board to complete a vintage style fuzz build. The BC546 is a silicon general purpose NPN transistor in a TO-92 package. The BC546’s typical applications include signal processing, amplification, and switching. The BC546 is available in two different gain ranges: BC546B and BC546C. Type hFE (IC=2mA, VCE=5V) BC546B 200-450 BC546C 420-800

This PCB mounted DC jack style can be found on many manufacturers’ pedals. For barrel plugs with a 5.5mm external diameter and 2.1mm internal diameter. Three solder pins are available for tip, ring, and switch.

Extra heavy duty carbon zinc batteries from GP. The GP Greencell AA is a favorite for fuzz pedals like the FZ-1 / FZ-1A and is the stock battery for many boutique builders such as Pigdog and others. High-quality USA made knobs from Davies Molding. The large 1470 pointer knob is made of solid phenolic and features a fine ridged grip with a distinctive point. This classic knob has been used on a variety of guitar pedals such as the Klon and countless EHX effects.
