The 2N4123 is a general purpose silicon NPN transistor in a TO-92 case. The 2N4123 is primarily intended for general purpose amplification. It is a popular choice for silicon fuzz pedals due to its low hFE specifications.

Metal Film resistors consist of a resistive element of an extremely thin layer of metal alloy vacuum deposited on a substrate. Precise and quiet. These 1/8W resistors have a very small body and are great for tight builds.

LM358 dual op amp in an 8-pin DIP package. These devices consist of two independent, high-gain, frequency-compensated operational amplifiers designed to operate from a single supply over a wide range of voltages. Operation from split supplies also is possible if the difference between the two supplies is 3 V to 32 V (3 V to 26 V for the LM2904), and VCC is at least 1.5 V more positive than the input common-mode voltage. The low supply-current drain is independent of the magnitude of the supply voltage. Applications include transducer amplifiers, dc amplification blocks, and all the conventional operational amplifier circuits that now can be implemented more easily in single-supply-voltage systems.

J113 N-Channel Switch (TO-92 package) - designed for low level analog switching, sample and hold circuits and chopper stabilized amplifiers.

LM311 single comparator IC in an 8-pin DIP package. The LM311 device is a single high-speed voltage comparator. These devices are designed to operate from a wide range of power supply voltages, including ±15-V supplies for operational amplifiers and 5-V supplies for logic systems. The output levels are compatible with most TTL and MOS circuits. These comparators are capable of driving lamps or relays and switching voltages up to 50 V at 50 mA. All inputs and outputs can be isolated from system ground. The outputs can drive loads referenced to ground, VCC+ or VCC−. Offset balancing and strobe capabilities are available, and the outputs can be wire-OR connected.

2N4061 PNP transistors. This is a silicon PNP transistor in a TO-92 package. The 2N4061 has been used in a variety of effects pedals and is most notably used in the Zonk Machine II.

The BD139 is a NPN medium power BJT transistor in a TO-126 package. The BD139's typical applications include audio amplifiers and drivers but is also popularly used in silicon fuzz pedals. Clear dust cover for use with 16mm potentiometers. These covers slide over the back of the pot covering the holes and gaps to help prevent dust from accumulating inside avoiding potential repairs and replacing down the road. These covers are a great choice for tight builds to help insulate the PCB or other parts from the backs of potentiometers. The dust cover is made of clear hard plastic and is easy to install on Alpha 16mm pots.

MC78L05 5V Linear Regulator. Used in MOD® kits. The TI version is the LM78L05. This fixed-voltage monolithic integrated circuit voltage regulator is suitable for applications that required supply current up to 100 mA.

5W zener diodes that are great for use in tube amps. These are commonly used to drop B+ voltages for tube modification compatibility or to create low power modes for the amp. A zener is a semiconductor device that, above a certain reverse voltage(the zener value) has a sudden rise in current. If forward biased, the diode is an ordinary rectifier. When reverse biased, it exhibits a sharp break in its current-voltage graph. Voltage across the diode remains essentially constant for any further increase of reverse current.

CD4017B is a 5-stage Johnson counter having 10 decoded outputs, respectively. Inputs include a CLOCK, a RESET, and a CLOCK INHIBIT signal. Schmitt trigger action in the CLOCK input circuit provides pulse shaping that allows unlimited clock input pulse rise and fall times. These counters are advanced one count at the positive clock signal transition if the CLOCK INHIBIT signal is low. Counter advancement via the clock line is inhibited when the CLOCK INHIBIT signal is high. A high RESET signal clears the counter to its zero count. Use of the Johnson counter configuration permits high-speed operation, 2-input decode-gating and spike-free decoded outputs. Anti-lock gating is provided, thus assuring proper counting sequence. The decoded output are normally low and go high only at their respective decoded time slot. Each decoded output remains high for one full clock cycle.

The CD4040B is a 12-stage ripple-carry binary counter. All counter stages are master-slave flip-flops. The state of a counter advances one count on the negative transition of each input pulse; a high level on the RESET line resets the counter to its all zeros state. Schmitt trigger action on the input-pulse line permits unlimited rise and fall times.

TL064 quad op amp in a 14-pin DIP package. The JFET-input operational amplifiers of the TL06x series are designed as low-power versions of the TL08x series amplifiers. Phillips panhead machine screw, 4-40, zinc. Designed to go through a hole or nut that is pre-tapped to form a mating thread for the screw. Has a general purpose bearing area and can be substituted in most applications for round, truss, or binding heads. Phillips drive is the most common drive used and is designed to "camout" when the screw reaches optimum tightness, thus preventing damage to the screw head.
